Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Liynku processes personal data when you use the website, dashboard, short links, billing, and abuse-reporting tools.
Data we process
- Account data: name, username, email address, language, time zone, authentication and security records.
- Link data: destination URLs, aliases, titles, filters, fallback rules, status, and internal notes you provide.
- Usage and analytics: request time, link identifier, approximate country, source, device/browser family, decision, block reason, and limited daily identifiers produced with HMAC. Raw IP addresses are not stored permanently by Liynku.
- Billing data: plan, order, amount, currency, status, gateway name, and gateway reference. Payment credentials and card details remain with the payment gateway.
- Support and abuse data: messages, report details, and the information needed to investigate and respond.
Why we use data
We process data to provide and secure the service, redirect traffic according to your rules, measure performance, prevent fraud and abuse, administer plans and payments, provide support, comply with legal obligations, and improve reliability.
Sharing and processors
Data may be processed by hosting, email, analytics infrastructure, WooCommerce, payment gateways, and configured geo/network-risk providers only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal data. A configured risk provider may receive a visitor IP address for real-time classification; provider availability and configuration are controlled by the administrator.
Retention
Raw event retention follows the configured plan and operational settings, generally between 30 and 730 days. Aggregated statistics, account records, orders, audit logs, and security records may be kept longer where needed for service operation, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Data is deleted or anonymized when no longer reasonably required.
Cookies and local storage
Liynku uses essential cookies for sign-in, security, language preference, pending-link transfer, cart, and checkout. Optional third-party services may add their own cookies when enabled.
Your choices and rights
You may update profile information in the dashboard and request access, correction, export, or deletion using the applicable WordPress privacy tools or by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for security, transactions, disputes, or law.
Security and international processing
We use access controls, prepared database queries, hashing, audit records, secure cookies, and transport encryption where available. No system is completely secure. Some service providers may process data outside your country under their own safeguards and applicable requirements.
Children
Liynku is not directed to children under 18 and should not be used by anyone who cannot legally consent to this processing.
