What is Liynku?
A WordPress-based short-link platform for managing, protecting, and measuring link traffic.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free includes up to 10 active links and 1,000 valid clicks per link each calendar month.
How does bot protection work?
Liynku scores several signals. Social-preview crawlers are not counted as valid clicks.
Is VPN detection always accurate?
No. Providers can produce false positives, so the default behavior when a provider fails is fail-open.
What is a fallback URL?
An alternate URL used when a country, VPN, or proxy rule sends traffic to a backup destination.
Can links be restricted by country?
Yes. Use the friendly country selector to create an ISO allowlist or blocklist.
How are clicks counted?
Total requests include every request. Valid clicks are human traffic that passes all rules. Unique visitors use a daily scoped HMAC.
Do plans renew automatically?
The initial version uses per-period payments and manual renewal. Auto-renew appears only for methods that truly support recurring payments.
What happens when a plan expires?
There is a grace period. After that, the account returns to Free and excess links are paused without being deleted.
How do I report a harmful link?
Use the Abuse Report form in the footer. Reports enter the admin review queue.
Are IP addresses stored?
Raw IP addresses are not stored permanently. The system stores an HMAC hash for analytics and security.
How is data migrated?
Liynku Migrator creates multipart backups with checksums for restoration on shared WordPress hosting.
